A file of correspondence and reports concerning relations between Albania and Yugoslavia. The correspondence compares the views of the Yugoslav government with recent articles critical of Albania published in the Yugoslav press. The press articles cover Albanian relations with China; their adherence to Stalinist policies; and their attitude towards Yugoslavia. Further press articles cover a trial of alleged Albanian spies in Prizren; the signing of an Albanian-Yugoslav trade protocol; and criticism of a radio broadcast on an Albanian Moscow Radio programme. Further commentary notes the views of the Yugoslav foreign minister, Ko?a Popović, on Albania's independence and its right to solve its own internal problems. The file also covers a dispute between Yugoslavia and the communist magazine Problems of Peace and Socialism, following the publication of a pamphlet Albania Today, which was critical to Yugoslavia.
