A file of correspondence and reports concerning leading personalities in the Soviet Union. The documents include a report produced by the British embassy in Moscow containing biographical information of 491 individuals considered to be "leading personalities" within the Communist Party of the Soviet Union during 1958. Other documents contain a list of members of staff at the Soviet embassy in Kabul; and a note prepared by the Foreign Office covering the members of the Soviet delegation who will be attending an upcoming conference to discuss the suspension of international nuclear testing. The documents also cover the process of creating the British personality reports.
