A file of correspondence and reports concerning economic relations between Bulgaria and the Soviet Union. The documents discuss the signature of a trade protocol by the Bulgarian and Soviet governments for the years between 1961 and 1965, under which Bulgaria will supply to the Soviet Union machinery, cables, non-ferrous metals, and fruit and vegetables, in exchange for pig iron, coke, rolled ferrous metals, and oil products. The documents also cover a visit to the Soviet Union by a Bulgarian trade delegation; and the signature of a trade protocol by the Bulgarian and Soviet governments for 1959, which will "significantly increase Bulgarian-Soviet trade". Other documents include a report covering the volume of trade between Bulgaria and the Soviet Union during each of 1955, 1956, and 1957.
