A file of correspondence, reports, and legal material concerning economic relations between Bulgaria and Argentina. The documents contain a note on the signature of a trade agreement between Bulgaria and Argentina; and a copy of the new Argentinian-Bulgarian trade agreement. The documents also discuss the revelation that the new Argentinian-Bulgarian trade agreement contains a discriminatory shipping clause, under which goods traded between Argentina and Bulgaria must be carried on Argentinian or Bulgarian ships, which violates the existing trade agreement between Britain and Bulgaria. Other documents cover the view of the British Ministry of Transport that Britain should protest to the Bulgarian government about the discriminatory shipping clause; and the drafting of a note to the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs protesting the Bulgarian decision to "discriminate against British shipping".
