A file of correspondence and press material concerning relations between Britain and Czechoslovakia. The documents contain a copy of an article published in the Czechoslovak press by Zden?k Fierlinger, the prime minister of the Czechoslovak government-in-exile during the final years of the Second World War, which states that Czechoslovakia "chose wisely" in aligning itself with the Soviet Union in the aftermath of the war; and criticises Britain and America for their "dishonest relationship" with the Soviet Union during the war, and particularly for their decision to repeatedly postpone the invasion of France to open a Western Front. The documents also discuss the view of the British embassy in Prague that, whilst Fierlinger is a "thoroughly nasty person", they should not protest to the Czechoslovak government about this article; and an article published by a Czechoslovak émigré organisation commenting on the supply of foreign aid by the Czechoslovak government.
