Subject matter included the production of coke and gas; the distribution of gas; hydrogenation and synthesis of fuels; the processing of crude oil, tar, and phenol; the economical use of gaseous, liquid, and solid fuels; and the most suitable method of processing and using brown coal. Further commentary discusses the future economic viability of Czechoslovakia's coal deposits.
