A file of correspondence on relations between Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. Subjects covered in the file include the ratification of a Czechoslovak-Soviet agreement on the settlement of financial and property issues arising from the union of the Sub-Carpathian Ukraine (Ruthenia) with the Ukrainian S.S.R.; and a Czechoslovak-Soviet agreement on mutual trade deliveries for 1959 to 1965. Goods to be exported between the two countries will include iron and manganese, ore, chemicals, oil, fuel, motor cars, industrial equipment, electric and steam locomotives, textiles, cotton, consumer goods, and foodstuffs. The file also includes reports that a Czechoslovak-Soviet customs agreement has been signed in Prague.
