A file of correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes concerning Soviet international relations. The documents discuss the Soviet biological warfare programme; a Soviet accusation that the Americans used biological weapons during the Korean War; and the threat of the American use of biological weapons in Soviet propaganda. Other documents cover the reaction of the Soviet Union to the creation and expansion of NATO; Soviet industrial productivity; the role of the World Peace Council as the "chief vehicle for Soviet political warfare"; and an article published by Josef Stalin in Bolshevik regarding recent developments in Soviet domestic and foreign policy, and the "crisis" of global capitalism. The documents also include a paper summarising developments at the nineteenth congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union; and the minutes of several meetings of the Russia Committee, which cover developments in Soviet policy, and the intentions of communist nations regarding the Korean War.
