Western (W): General (W). Commercial Relations between GDR and Czechoslovakia

A file of correspondence concerning trade relations between East Germany and Czechoslovakia. The correspondence discusses the signing of a trade and payments agreement between the two countries, which provides for the trade of goods to the value of 850m roubles. East Germany will export a wide range of engineering products and industrial equipment, motor vehicles, chemicals, and consumer goods. Czechoslovakia will export coal, coke, rolled steel and castings, machine tools, motor vehicles, engineering products, chemicals, textiles, consumer goods, and foodstuffs.
