A file of correspondence concerning relations between India and Yugoslavia. The correspondence discusses rumours that the Indian prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, may visit Yugoslavia as part of his European trip to the Commonwealth prime ministers' Conference. Further correspondence discusses Nehru's recent statement to the Indian Parliament in which he outlined the importance he attached to Yugoslav views on European affairs; and a request from British officials for a further assessment of the relationship between the two countries.
